The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili opened the friendship house in Batumi

The President of Georgia opened the friendship house in Griboedov Street in Batumi, there are eight offices of the Diaspora living in Adjara are located. The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili greeted the representatives of Russian, Azerbaijani, Armenian, Ukrainian, Kurdish, German, Greek and Jewish Diasporas. In his speech Mikheil Saakashvili once again noted that it is necessary for all the ethnic minorities living in Georgia to co-exist friendly. Today the Diasporas located in the friendship-house were given gifts - computers and office inventory.

After the opening ceremony of the friendship house the representatives of the Diasporas planted palm trees, and thus enriched Batumi with one more Friendship Alley.
