The President of Georgia visited Dedoplistskaro today where construction of the “Kochebi Lake” resort is beginning. The acting governor of Kakheti, Giorgi Sibashvili familiarized Mikheil Saakashvili with the details of the project. As he explained, there will be a café, beach, sports field -for mini football, basketball and children’s games, recreation equipment, lockers, and showers as well as a fishing zone, cottages, a picnic zone in the woods, and a parking area on the perimeter.

Additionally, the Kochebi Lake will be public territory, and any desirer will be able to use it for free, just like Ilia Lake.

50 persons are currently employed by the project which plans to employ an additional 50 as the works intensify. Rehabilitation works will be completed by the end of next year.
