The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili met US Vice President Joseph Biden.

Joe Biden on behalf of the United States once again reiterated support to Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty during the meeting held in White House.

They discussed the deep friendship between the people of the United States and Georgia based on the shared values of democracy, freedom and respect for human rights. Besides this Joe Biden thanked Mikheil Saakashvili for Georgia's contribution in Afghan Mission.

Besides Joe Biden, Mikheil Saakashvili met with Richard Lugar and John McCain at White House. Later the President of Georgia held a meeting at Senate with US Senators.
