Mikheil Saakashvili opened a new portion of the road connecting Gldani and Mukhiani, through Sheshelidze and Gobronidze streets. The President personally sat behind the wheel and tested the new road with the Mayor of Tbilisi. The Head of State spoke to him about the importance of new projects. As Gigi Ugulave explained to the President, this road creates a major shortcut and it is very important for lightening up of the traffic. Mikheil Saakashvili also expressed interest in the ongoing infrastructural works and touched on the issues of land privatization and water systems. He received detailed information from the Mayor of Tbilisi on these subjects. As Gigi Ugulava noted, land privatization is going on and as of the water supply issue, Tbilisi no longer has problems in this sense.
