Manana Manjgaladze replied to the request of the Minister of Corrections and Legal Assistance, and made a statement regarding the pardon of prisoners, who are extremely ill.

“We listened to the statement of the Minister of Corrections and Legal Assistance today regarding the pardon of 137 prisoners. I would like to explain, that the above mentioned persons are suffering from various illnesses. We would like to reply to this request. We express readiness, and the President will publish an act regarding the pardon of these persons upon receiving official request documentation” – noted the Press Speaker.
