"Company "Energo-Pro-Georgia" started construction process of new electric transmitting line in Khelvachauri region. The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili and the Minister of Energy Aleksandre Khetaguri attended the opening ceremony of new construction.

"Georgia stands firm against the global crisis better than many other countries around the world, but we still have to survive through this very difficult period of time. This new transmitting line will practically solve energy problems in Imereti, Ajara, Racha, Guria and Mengrelia. Individual meters are very important as well. Collective system is very uncivilized. We need satisfaction in every single family", Mikheil Saakashvili stated.

The President of Georgia commented on Obama-Medvedev's meeting in London and stated that there is no possible threat of Russian military aggression against Georgia after this meeting. He said that an issue of Georgia was raised on a very high level during Obma-Medvedev's meeting.

The President of Georgia stated that arrival of US military vessel in Batumi is confirmation of friendship between Georgia and US new administration.

I am very pleased that one of the major issues on which Obama and Medvedev seriously disagreed yesterday during the meeting, and which is on the top of the list of priorities, is Georgia and the issue of occupation of Georgia. I am noting this with pleasure, because some in Russia had illusion that the United States would have traded Georgia off in exchange for Afghanistan and for relations with Iran. Nothing of that kind has happened. The Georgian issue was raised on a very important level during this meeting.

So we have very firm support from the U.S. administration. You know that the U.S. general visited Georgia two days ago and that we are moving to a new stage of strategic partnership, which means completely new level of and in fact launch of creation of new Georgian army.

We have no other alternative. Georgia needs strong allies. Georgia needs further development and Georgia needs to act hand in hand with our friends to rule out problems.

In this situation, especially after the yesterday's meeting in London I practically rule out any further Russian military adventures against Georgia.

And on the other hand of course, Georgia will not be happy until the de-occupation of Georgia and until the last invader soldier does not leave the territory of Georgia, stated the President of Georgia.

The President of Georgia visited Kobuleti today as well. Mikheil Saakashvili got familiarized with village road rehabilitation process in village Khutsubani. 22 local population is employed on this project.

"Natural juices factory will be opened soon, your will be able to export your production trough new way and it will be much cheaper. I am very glad that the part of your families is employed. It is he tragedy for me to see so many unemployed people", stated the President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili.
