The President of Georgia made a speech at Paris Institute of Political Science. "Georgia is a laboratory of the democratic reforms on the post-soviet territory", Mikheil Saakashvili stated. "Despite the fact that the tanks of the aggressor country stand in 32 km from the capital of Georgia I have come here to pass to you the message of hope. European and Euro-Atlantic model has a great importance for Georgia. This model is the major driving force of social, economic and political transformation in Georgia. If the neighboring country gives us a chance to realize it, Georgia will be the best example of this model", Mikheil Saakashvili pointed out.

I want to underline that local elections of 2010 were extremely important. Since the Russian intervention these were the first elections in Georgia.
