President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili opened a sewing factory in Batumi

President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili opened a sewing factory "Ajara Textile" in the village Bobokvati, Kobuleti region.

He paid special attention to village roads construction, hospital and gasification projects and their fulfillment and he once again promised the local population that they would fulfill all the pre-election promises.

President of Georgia spoke about economic problems, which became more complicated on the background of the world economic crisis.

"We really have a chance that if we stand together and continue all the reforms which have already started all those projects regarding the road construction and the development of infrastructure we will by all means attract investors. All these will give the country a chance to come out of the crisis with dignity. There is a serious problem of unemployment and poverty, but again if we stand together, if there is stability and we won't allow corrupt elements to come back, we will gain a victory", stated President of Georgia.

The main enemy of Georgia is unemployment and poverty - stated Mikheil Saakashvili during the opening ceremony of the factory in Adjara. He said that this event means one more victory over the enemy.

President Saakashvili put a PUMA jacket on before addressing people and expressed his hope that all the Georgian national teams will use these uniforms. President of Georgia called the Georgian Olympic Committee and sportsmen to help the factory and advertise their production.

Mikheil Saakashvili admitted that the country's major mission is to retain the economy and jobs despite world economic crises.

President said that the construction of the factories has stopped in the world, but we open factories in Georgia and the construction goes on in Batumi.

Mikheil Saakashvili reacted to the pretensions of the opposition leaders regarding his trip from Sofia to Bodrum a week ago.

According to his statement he went to Turkey to get familiarized with the new greenhouse technologies there. He said these technologies will be implemented in Georgia in the nearest future.

President of Georgia noted that however these visits will be discussed he will continue his trips and contacts with people.
