President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili responded from Yerevan to the fact of opposition leaders’ meeting with Kakha Targamadze in Berlin

Mikheil Saakashvili commented on the opposition leaders' meeting with Kakha Targamadze in Berlin.

President called his opponents for parting themselves from the type of people who are associated with corruption and injustice. President of Georgia thinks that Kakha Targamadze is the most notorious person in the history of modern Georgia.

He said that hatred must not make people blind and turn back from the major values. He advises political forces to show responsibility towards each other and the country.

President spoke of external threats and noted that there really exists a threat of external forces' involvement in the political processes going on in the country. "

"The problem today is between maintaining the statehood of Georgia and the realization of the enemy's plans, which aims to illegally overthrow the government and collapse our statehood... Russians stated many times that there major aim is to change the government in Georgia. For it they use those people who live in Russia and are in open ties with their special services. In this situation every political force has to understand that they should treat one another and our country with great responsibility", stated Mikheil Saakashvili.

He spoke about financing of political parties and stated that he would offer them new approaches. Mikheil Saakashvili initiated his meeting with the majority with the aim of discussing financing of political parties. Mikheil Saakashvili stated that every party would be given an opportunity to realize their political abilities.
