The President has opened a rehabilitated professional college in Poti
The President of Georgia has opened a rehabilitated professional college "Pazisi" in Poti today. The school has been equipped with new inventory and modern electronic and computer technologies, and a CISCO network lab as well. There are only three such laboratories in Georgia, - In Tbilisi, Batumi and Poti.
Mikheil Saakashvili toured the modern high tech workshops of carpenters, technicians, welders, electricians, and refrigeration technology repair experts. The President of Georgia also talked with the students.
As the managers of the college told Mikheil Saakashvili, 70% of the graduates are employed by partner organizations (Poti Seaport, Anaklia Resort and etc.) and other companies.
According to the President, the graduates of this professional college will be employed because tourism is developing in Georgia every day, which means that the service sector is expanding. And for that we need a professionally trained labor force. The graduates of the college will be redistributed to Poti Seaport, the City of Anaklia and other tourist centers.
Mikheil Saakashvili has also met Poti residents.
