President Saakashvili addresses business forum in Peking

Today President Mikheil Saakashvili made an address at the Georgian-Chinese Business Forum in Peking. 
President Saakashvili talked about the priority issues of the economic partnership between China and Georgia. The sides also agreed on the payment of the state debt which Georgia owes to China and which amounts to more than 3 million dollars. It has been decided that Georgia will refund USD 400, 000 and the rest of it will be written off at the expense of the grant given in 2005. 

Today President met with the Prime Minister of China Wen Jiabao after which he briefed the Georgian journalists, talked about the new initiatives and said that the Georgian Defence Minister Irakli Okruashvili will oversee the export of Georgian wines to the new markets. "I instructed the Prime Minister Zurab Noghaideli to deal with wine related issues in the domestic market as well as in the entire CIS space. This will be his main task until Russian lifts its embargo. I also instructed the Defence Minister to export Georgian wine to the new markets," President Saakashvili said. 

The Georgian President also talked about the second initiative on the allocation of funds to purchase those specious which give ample harvest.
