The President of Georgia visited several families in Poti
The President of Georgia visited one of the families at the refugee neighborhood in Poti. Mikheil Saakashvili expressed interest in the social and everyday problems which the refuges relocated from various regions of Georgia have in Poti. While visiting the family of Manuchar Barsania, the President spoke about the new infrastructural projects, which will create over 2 thousand jobs in the city.
After leaving the refugee neighborhood, the President visited the family of Valiko Rurua where representatives of three generations live together. On behalf of the local residents, the host thanked the President for solving the problems which had not been dealt with for decades. As his family members noted, the problems related to water and natural gas no longer exist. According to Mikheil Saakashvili, the process of replacing water and sewage systems is already underway, which will remove an important problem for the city.
