The President of Georgia met with locals in Khoni and villages of the Tchiatura area
The President of Georgia continues meetings in regions of Georgia. Mikheil Saakashvili visited Khoni and villages of the Tchiatura area today. The Head of State spoke about the programs planned in the social, healthcare, and agriculture spheres with the local residents. Mikhiel Saakashvili later introduced the infrastructural projects based on which the employment problem is going to be solved in the country.
“A lot of people appear everywhere we go, but those who are used to buying people say: It is true that Misha was greeted by a lot of people in Svaneti, but they were not Svanetians…I apparently took 20 thousand Tbilisians to Adjara in order for them to greet me. Yesterday, they said about Samtredia that I apparently brought people from Tsalenjikha and Chkhorotsku, and today in Khoni I probably brought the British and Americans by special aircrafts…but on October 1st, when Khonians, Samtredians, Abashians, Kutaisians, Kakhetians, Kartlians and Tbilisians appear it will become evident that Georgia has not gone insane; we are a wise nation, integrated, experienced, bold, foreseeing, and oriented on the future. Despite the fact that there are still a lot of people in poverty, and there are places in Georgia where nothing has changed towards good, each of us must ask ourselves one question: Is Georgia a better country than it was 8 years ago. This is why we should think and get organized before we act. October 1st will be the last attempt for each one of those corrupt criminal elements and our conquerors” – stated Mikheil Saakashvili.
