The President of Georgia visited the International Tourism Learning Center

The President of Georgia attended the open house at the International Tourism Learning Center. Along with the prospective students there were general managers of various hotels, who are very interested in employing the graduates of this school. The Head of State spoke to them about the future plans and touched on the projects that are already being implemented, which according to the President increase the tourism potential of Georgia even more. Mikheil Saakashvili addressed the prospective students of the school and spoke to them about the importance of this school. The new school will be opened on April 1. Those who are interested can apply at this time and receive detailed information about the school where they can take specialized courses in hotel and tourism management. The learning process is being presented with American and British programs and that is why prospective students are required to know the English language. After completing the appropriate course, the participants of the program will receive diplomas and international certificates. The graduates will also attend internships abroad, in Qatar by the Doha Starwood Hotel chain and they will have a paid internship opportunity. They also have prospects of earning a bachelor’s degree in the field at various universities of Europe. The main purpose of the center is to retrain people in the direction of hotel management and implement tourism programs that comply with international standards. In the future, it will be possible to attend short term courses at the center.
