Mikheil Saakashvili met with IMF Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn. They have discussed reforms that were carried out in Georgia and IMF projects. The President of Georgia stated during the meeting that agriculture and tourism are priority spheres for Georgia. Mikheil Saakashvili got interested with the considerations of IMF Managing Director on the price increase all around the world.

The CEO of IMF made a comment after the meeting was over. He noted that IMF has a positive attitude towards Georgia and if Georgia wants to have successful program IMF is ready to help the country.
