On January 17 President Mikheil Saakashvili attended an opening ceremony of Vaso Abashidze State Theatre of Music and Drama and with the vulnerable elderly people and children from orphanages listened to the premier of the performance La Cambiale di Matrimonio [the Bill of the Exchange of Marriage] staged by the director Davit Doiashvili after the opera of Gioacchino Rossini. 
Before the performance President Saakashvili addressed the public stressing that today Georgia has a luxury to establish new cultural centers. "After so many years films are being shoot in Georgia, new theaters are being built and opened in the regions. Cultural revival is possible only when the country is getting on its feet," President Saakashvili said stressing that vulnerable people should participate in cultural events and enjoy full life.
