Today President Mikheil Saakashvili opened the 71st free canteen for the poor, which will serve over 100 people every day, in Didube-Chughureti district. The President talked and dined with the elderly people at the canteen and stresses that the government of Tbilisi will provide them with the medicines and medical insurance from September. 
"The city government can, if necessary, provide each of you with an additional medication and insurance. Regardless of a slight increase of the electricity price in Tbilisi we will grant compensations to those who need it. Overall, we will maximally do everything we are able to do," President Saakashvili said.
