The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili and the President of Russia Dimitry Medvedev had a telephone conversation on June 18, 2008.
The parties discussed actual issues concerning bilateral relations.
While discussing existing situation in Abkhazia the Georgian President called the Russian side upon refraining from unilateral actions and in the process of transporting the ammunition follow required procedures.
The Presidents of Georgia and Russia agreed to contact on the regular basis for the normalization of the bilateral relations.
