The President of Georgia offers full autonomy to the Prime Minister in stuffing the new government

The President of Georgia commented on government reshuffling after his meeting with the Prime Minister of Norway. He stated that no major changes are expected in government and offered new Prime Minister Grigol Mgaloblishvili the full freedom in stuffing the new government, he said that new force and energy is needed at every level in the government.

"We went through on stage already and this was a reason of changing the Prime Minister in Georgia. The agreement was as it occurred from the very beginning. Now we are moving to the new stage and this is why we need new energy, new programs, we need to fulfill our 18 months program successfully, to make sure we are back on truck and our 50 months program will be accomplished successfully. Our programs will not change, on the contrary - we must accomplish each of these programs with more energy.

"Georgia is in a very hard situation now. The previous government was able to stand firm through the most complicated challenges and it is very important for us, we must envisage all of these during the staffing process of the new government. I want to underline the fact that our new Prime Minister has the full autonomy in this process. New blood is needed at every level of our government this is the permanent process. But we are not expecting any revolutionary changes in the Cabinet at this stage. Gega Mgaloblishvili believes that there is no need of serious reshuffling at this stage", stated the President of Georgia.
