President of the Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharian paid an informal visit to Georgia and met with President Mikheil Saakashvili at a hotel "Marko Polo" in a mountainous resort of Gudauri. The two Presidents discussed the issues of strategic cooperation and regional security among the neighboring countries.

"We do not need ceremonies and political limitations with our neighbors. [...] Without any prior preparations we can always visit and hold talk with each other," President Saakashvili said adding that the two Presidents planned to hold an informal visit long ago.

President Saakashvili and President Kocharian will return to Tbilisi tomorrow.
