The meeting of Mikheil Saakashvili and the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania – Roberta Alma Anastase was held at the Presidential Palace today.  The sides discussed mutual relations and other spheres of interest and future cooperation. The successfully implemented reforms were among the most important topics of discussion during the meeting. As Roberta Anastase noted, sharing the Georgian experience in terms of fighting corruption, simplicity of doing business, as well as other economic reforms, is of great interest for Romania. The sides also discussed issues of security, stability and the situation in the occupied territories.

The Romanian Delegation arrived in Georgia on October 24. Roberta Alma Anastase is later scheduled to meet with the members of the Georgian Government within the scope of the visit.
