The President of Georgia met with representatives of the Rustavi City Council. During the meeting Mikheil Saakashvili spoke about ongoing processes in the country, and noted that it is unacceptable to stop all the social projects in Rustavi. According to him, all of the projects initiated in Rustavi were serving the development of the region and employing the local people. The President of Georgia also spoke about the role of state institutions in state development, and noted that the ongoing occurrences are nothing more than oppression of institutions.

“We will achieve restoring order and the rule of law in Georgia anyway, continuation of life by constitutional principles, and protecting human rights.” – stated Mikheil Saakashvili.
