Planned construction works of mountain skiing resort infrastructure have already started on Goderdzi Pass and in several months the process will become more active. The presentation of the project was held in an open air, the President of Georgia discussed the architectural model and the plan together with the Head of Adjarian Government and the Minister of Economy.

"We will have more than million tourists next year. This resort will give us the chance to double the number of tourists. All business plans must finish before the end of this year. First rope-way will get activated in Mestia this year, next year people will be able to ski from this mountain to another. We must study the issue of building an airport in this region as well", Mikheil Saakashvili stated
