Presidents of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey on October 12 attended an opening of the Georgian section of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline in Gardabani district. 
President Saakashvili addressed the officials participating in the opening ceremony and talked about the importance of the pipeline. "This pipeline is of political importance for Georgia. It will play a decisive role in the development of our country," the President said. 

The three presidents jointly declared that the project of the century and close cooperation will guarantee the stability of the region.
