The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili finished his visit to United Arab Emirates. The purpose of this visit was attraction of investments.

The member of the Ruling Royal Family Sheikh Nahian met Mikheil Saakashvili at Abu Dhabi airport and during the whole visit he drove the President in his own car.

Mikheil Saakashvili met the Prime Minister, Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Education and Infrastructure in Abu Dhabi. During the meeting parties reached agreement that Georgian citizens will travel to the Emirates without visas.

The President of Georgia also visited Al Haima Emirate that is investing money in Poti free economic zone - in Poti port, also builds big commercial center in the entrance of Tbilisi, finances TV company "Imedi" and construction of Mtatsminda park.

During the world economic crises some damage was caused to the United Arab Emirates economy as well. Arabian investments were terminated in many countries. Despite this fact, Mikheil Saakashvili got guarantee that their investments will not be terminated in Georgia, but will even increase.

Mikheil Saakashvili's visit to the United Arab Emirates was the continuation of economic diplomacy.
