A cooperation memorandum was signed by Anaklia and Jurmala
The President of Georgia was visiting the resort city Jurmala where a cooperation memorandum was signed by Anaklia and Jurmala today. As the Mayor of Jurmala noted, one can learn a lot from Georgia because this is a very warm and hospitable country. According to him, developing Anaklia will increase its tourist potential even more. As he noted, Latvian investors are interested in building hotels in Anaklia.
Mikheil Saakashvili toured the Jurmala Boulevard with Gatis Truksnis, and familiarized himself with the coastal infrastructure. They spoke about future cooperation and discussed the prospect of joint project implementation. As Mikheil Saakashvili noted, today’s agreement creates even more opportunities for even more tourists, which in its turn will assist overcoming the unemployment problem.
