The Spokesperson for the President of Georgia Manana Manjgaladze started her traditional briefing with the tragedy that took place in Japan and expressed her deepest sorrow because of the disaster that sacrificed lives of thousands of people and caused the country incredible damage.

"During this hard minutes, the President of Georgia once again expresses his condolences and support to the government and people of Japan on the behalf of whole Georgia and Georgian nation. We are horrified with what had happened and bow down our heads in front of Japanese people. It is so rare to meet such a tragedy with so much dignity and fight with the misfortune with such firmness. We pay our honor to each of dead person and express our deepest sorrow to Japanese government and people, as well as to each family in Japan,"-Manana Manjgaladze noted and added that Georgian government tries to send certain modest humanitarian aid to Japanese people. Besides this, Georgian rescue team will go to Japan in the zone of disaster due to the decision made by the Georgian government.

MananaManjgaladze expressed condolences on the behalf of the President of Georgia to the family of Corporal ValeriVerskian. He was wounded on March 5 in Afghanistan and despite the course of treatment passed away in Germany. Corporal ValeriVerskian served in the contingent of 32nd battalion within the frames of ISAF Mission in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.

"Unfortunately, once again we have to say that it is a great loss for the country to lose each dignified fellow citizen. They know the price of freedom and dignity of their country the best. I would like to express my deepest sorrow and support to the family of the soldier once again", the Spokesperson, noted.

Manana Manjgaladze stressed her attention on the visit of the President of Georgia to the United States and first of all spoke about the importance of the treaty signed between Trump Organization and Silk Road Group.

"Talks about the investments of this scale and entrance of a businessman of this level in the country, when the world is under the influence of economic crises it is very important", she stated.

According to the agreement a residence complex and a hotel will open in Batumi and Tbilisi. This is an absolutely new region for Donald Trump and Georgia is the first country where a project would be realized by Trump's investments.

"This visit was called "an economic visit" not by chance only. But I would like to add at the same time that the President plans to hold several meetings of political importance. Particularly he plans to meet the CEO of Monetary Fund, also with the leaders of Senate minority and majority. The interest from the media is quite big. So the President's agenda looks pretty busy and diverse", Manjgaladze noted.

The Spokesperson stressed her attention on the consensus achieved between Parliamentarian majority and minority and informed the representatives of media about the position of the President of Georgia.

"As far as you are concerned according to the consensus achieved between Parliamentarian minority and majority the government of Georgia will deliver a report to the Georgian population and the Parliament. The problems bothering population, the vision of the government and the ways of solving them, the methods of abolishment of challenges facing the country - are the major issues that the representatives of government will stress their attention on. The Parliamentary opposition raised the issue of accountability of the government first and after certain discussions and works, the consensus was achieved. So, starting from the next week, it might be said that the Parliament would work in a contingency regime. Mikheil Saakashvili welcomes this initiative and critique and the format of dialogue", Manana Manjgaladze noted.

As she said the Prime Minister, the separate members of minister's office will deliver their reports. They will have to answer sufficient questions deriving from the existing problems. The debates in the Parliament will last for one week.
