President's Spokesperson, Gela Charkviani publicly nominated 18 candidates, introduced by President Mikheil Saakashvili, for the public television board of trustees.

The candidates were selected on the basis of professionalism and political neutrality.

The nominees are: Nino Ananiashvili, Giorgi Babunashvili, Ana Dolidze, Levan Tarkhnishvili, Pridon Todua, Khatuna Kveselava, Tamar Kintsurashvili, Maia Mikashavidze, Gia Nodia, Lina Panteleeva, Alexander Rondeli, Manana Sanadze, Gogi Kavtaradze, Nikoloz Kavelashvili, Tamar Shamili, Giorgi Chirakadze, Mamuka Kherkheulidze, Giorgi Khubua.

All of the nominees will be submitted to the Parliament for consideration, out of which the Parliament will select 9.
