"Roads problem in Georgia will be solved once and for all," President Saakashvili said when the Dutch company "Caucasus Road Project", that plans to rehabilitate the road from Baratashvili Bridge up to the airport highway, started resurfacing the road.

"The roads are the basis of economy. Therefore half billion dollars will be spent for the rehabilitation of roads this year and the next one." the President said adding that the Dutch machines would not stop working until the roads problem was solved in Georgia.

President Saakashvili also commented on Tbilisi facelift and said that soon Tbilisi would resemble a European city and attract more tourists. Tourists will create additional source of revenue that will promote development of the economy of the country.
