The President of Georgia held a National Security Council session today. Due to the President's statement Georgia has videotape, which is true evidence that Georgia is a victim of aggression. Mikheil Saakashvili calls it provocation and states that Georgian aircrafts were always flying and will always fly above Georgia. It is nobody's business, including Russia, because none of the international agreements will be broken with this reason.

"We hold our National Security Council session just before the UN Security Council Session, which was requested by Georgia and is supported by our friends. After our independency it is the first session that is going to be held in such circumstances. The aggressive moves from Russian Federation against Georgia will be discussed during the session. I want to underline that all European UN member countries requested participation in this session, which is unprecedented occasion. It means that the whole world focuses their attention on the recent events going on in Georgia. Once more I would like to underline that we took series of diplomatic steps, we sent our representatives in Europe. I tasked the Foreign Minister and he is meeting the US State Secretary and the Secretary of Security Council. He will deliver a speech at the Security Council session. Vice-Premier Giorgi Baramidze is in Europe; he had many meetings on this issue recently. At the same time I cannot hide my concern and not say, that Russia is going to discuss the issue of Abkhazian and South Ossetian independency. After Russia practically legalized annexation in Abkhazia, after the fact that we have documental video material which is the true evidence that we became victims of aggression, Russia is going to discus the final act - it is a very rough provocation.

You saw the first reaction of Russia on the incident that happened several days ago - what was Georgian aircraft doing above Ganmukhuri in the Gali region. Russia was trying to justify their actions by saying this. I want to say with full responsibility that our unarmed air assets, which are in the possession of MIA of Georgia, were flying, fly and will be flying above Georgian territory always. It is not anybody's business, including our neighbor Russia. We have warned UN about it and we are going to execute the same type of law enforcement events without any limitations.

Today they guessed in Russia that problem is not in what the Georgian aircraft was doing in our own territory (it will not justify their actions) but what was their "MIG-29" doing in Gudauta, which is officially closed down by Russia, what was it doing in our air space, why was it shooting missiles and why it was bombing Georgian villages?

We have video materials and no matter how Russians and Bagapshi will prove that it is fabrication done by Hollywood, I do not think neither Georgia nor US have such specialist who has this kind of assets for fabrication. The ability to shoot such a high quality film is not even in horror movies.

So I think we should remain calm and we should have prepared our answers in the frames of diplomatic spectrum. It is very important for us to establish firm and sharp position before the Security Council session. I want to confirm once again what I told Vladimer Putin - I am ready for negotiations only if the legal act on annexation of Georgian territory will be annulled.
