"The situation was tough in Georgia several years ago, people's attitude was hopeless. Today Georgia is in the process of construction. This is the period of transformation of people, ideas and architecture in our country. Georgia and its architecture has always shared European values. Today Georgia is on the way of revival and renewal. Georgia has moved off the Soviet heritage and found its place in the Organization of Modern Nations. New Georgia represents a bright example of historical rehabilitation and synthesis of contemporary creations. Architecture is based on freedom and courage. We invite free, daring and talented people from the sphere of architecture, to participate in this transformation", stated the President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili.
