The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili went to Warsaw to celebrate the Independence Day of Poland. Several Presidents and delegations attended this event as well.

The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili met the President of Poland Lekh Kachinski. The main topic of this meeting was Russian-EU negotiations.

According to the statement made by Mikheil Saakashvili the issue of Georgia will be very important issue in the negotiations process. Specifically, EU will re-evaluate the process of fulfillment of obligations. Russia must fulfill their obligations for de-occupation of Georgia and develop democracy.

Mikheil Saakashvili had a chance to talk to his European colleagues. After meeting the British diplomat David Milliband the President of Georgia stated that the main topic during the Nice negotiations will be Georgia. His British colleague has assured the President himself.

"In case if Russia will not fulfill its obligations towards Georgia the problems will still arouse between Russia and EU. I have talked to David Milliband and he assured me that Georgia will be one of the main topics of EU negotiations in Nice. Now EU will fundamentally re-evaluate relationship with Russia. They have adopted a statement according to which, the Georgian issue will play the most important role during the re-evaluation process. Everybody understands very well that Georgia will fight to the end", stated the President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili.
