The President of Georgia – Mikheil Saakashvili expressed deep sorrow regarding the tragedy, caused by an earthquake on October 23, in the Vani Province of Turkey.

The President of Georgia was disturbed by the tragedy, which took lives, resulted in tremendous losses for citizens of Turkey and damaged the country’s economy.

On behalf of the Georgian people, Mikheil Saakashvili sympathized with the government of Turkey and extended his condolences to the families of the deceased and lost persons.

Mikheil Saakashvili called the Georgian side for expressing solidarity and support for the Turkish nation in case there is a need, which may be essential at such a critical time for our friends.
