The official visit of the President of Georgia to the Republic of Azerbaijan began today. The Presidents of Georgia and Azerbaijan will hold a meeting after the official greeting ceremony at the Zagulba Palace. The sides are also going to hold a meeting with the participation of full delegations.  Several important international agreements will be signed by the two countries during this official visit.

The heads of two states will make official statements to the press. Later, Mikheil Saakashvili and Ilham Aliyev will leave for the Heydar Aliyev foundation.

On the second day of the visit, Mikheil Saakashvili will meet with the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan and visit and address the highest legislature of the country.
