The President of Georgia hosted American Senators John McCaine and Joseph Lieberman at his Kvareli home, as well as the new Ambassador of the United States in Georgia, Richard Norland. The Head of State took American guests on the tour of his vineyard. John McCaine expressed interest in the Georgian wine breeds. Mikheil Saakashvili spoke to them about the uniqueness of Georgian wine breeds and familiarized them with technologies of pressing the grapes and making Georgian Chacha.

The guests symbolically participated in the vintage with the President and personally pressed grapes with Georgian songs in the background.
