The President of Georgia visited the Shida Kartli Region. Mikheil Saakashvili met with population of three villages – Dzavera, Ktsnisi, and Karaleti. The Head of State later addressed them. According to him, despite a lot of dangers, nobody has been able to alter the course chosen by Georgia and the political choice of its government, a certain sign of which is the fact that Georgia will definitely achieve victory. Mikheil Saakashvili recalled the times of the August War and noted that Georgia will definitely return its territories.

“I have seen with my own eyes, as well as the entire country, how honorable people from here are. Our enemy has practically taken everything from you besides your life. Some people close to you even lost their lives. I have walked in this gorge often, and it is the greatest pain for me to recall how they stepped on it with their feet. We will definitely return everything! I am firmly sure of this. None of the conquerors have been able to settle in the middle of Kartli, and these also won’t be able to do so. We will definitely free our country, Kartli, our gorges, villages, and return our homes” – stated the President of Georgia.
