The President of Georgia attended the mourning ceremony upon  arrival of the remains of the troops killed on June 6^th  at the Georgian base in Afghanistan.

Ambassador of the United States in Georgia, a military attaché, and various representatives of the diplomatic corps, accredited in Georgia, attended the mourning ceremony at the Tbilisi International Airport. Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Chairman of the National Security Council as well as representatives of the government and parliament paid their respects before the deceased Georgian soldiers.
