The President of Georgia extends condolences to the family of a deceased soldier
The President of Georgia expresses deep sorrow regarding the death of the Georgian Corporal Mindia Abashidze during a military operation in Afghanistan. Mikheil Saakashvili extends condolences to the family of the deceased soldier and sympathizes with his relatives.
Mindia Abashidze was the head of the fire group of the 32nd Light Infantry Battalion. He had participated in the peacekeeping mission of Afghanistan during 2010-2011.
