The President of Georgia met with participants of the Student Summer Employment Program and addressed them. Mikheil Saakashvili spoke to them about opportunities that have appeared for them in an emerging democratic state. The Head of State focused attention on new education programs, and touched on their future prospects. The President called on the youth to participate in the decisive moment of the country’s life and advised them on participating in the Parliamentary elections.

“As a President, I did not come here to promote any political party. I want to address you, and tell you that the fate of our country is being decided. I want to ask you not to give up your long term future to anyone. Don’t give up your free choice to anyone because you are going to live in this country for a long time. Don’t do something that you will regret for next 70-80 years because you didn’t participate in the elections, and as a result let someone else decide your fate for you…let’s be devoted, free, unified, strong, patriots and the rest is up to you to decide. This is the only thing I wanted to tell you” – stated the President of Georgia.
