A new program “Georgia with a Smile” will be launched
The President, who is celebrating his birthday today, visited the “Virtue House” in Batumi and treated the senior citizens there with caviar and Spanish cheese brought as presents by foreign friends. The President of Georgia talked with the elderly and introduced to them a new Presidential program called “Georgia with a Smile,” which envisions free dental service to the socially vulnerable. With the order of the President, the listing of the people who need such assistance will begin in Adjara shortly.
“We need to list the people who are using the services of the Virtue House and those who are in the most need of this protection around the entire country. We will allocate funds in order to address their problems. I want all of our senior citizens to smile…the new program “Georgia with a Smile” should spread to all cities and villages in our country. This program will also assist in the development of the dental services sphere” – noted the President of Georgia.
