The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili personally hosted the orphans at President's Palace

New Year concert was held at President's Palace especially for orphans and disabled children. The President of Georgia personally congratulated them with New Year and wished them their dreams to come true.

"I want to congratulate you with the New Year. It already became a tradition to hold New Year events at the President's Palace. Some of you have visited this place even last year. This Palace belongs to you. This is not the house of your President - this is your house and your Palace, because you are the best children of our motherland. I wish you happiness this year - probably all of you made a wish this New Year, if you haven't - make a wish right now - it is still not late. I want you to know that you are being raised in a very good country - our country has enemies, it experiences various misfortunes during last several years, but there is one thing we all should remember, despite the fact that elder people don't like many things and it is normal, you still are very fortunate - because you were born, will be raised and live in a very interesting country. You must know that you and me have many things in common - I like communicating a lot. I think that children understand me and I understand them as well. We all must hold one others' hand and build this country together. The dream of each of you must become true. The most important thing is that you make such dreams that will bring joy to you and to those people, who stand next to you. We will be able to build a very strong country then. I want to congratulate you with the New Year once again, I wish you success and you must know that I am always with you", the President of Georgia noted.

"Bees" and "Basti Bubu" groups performed special concert songs for children, they got gifts as well.
