The presentation of professional education program was held in Telavi today. The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili and the Minister of Education and Sciences Gia Nodia attended the presentation.

160 students will be trained in professional training center with renewed program. Best students will be given jobs in the partner companies of center. These types of centers are opened in the frames of the President's national program and 10 professional retraining centers already were opened in Georgia. Beginning from 2006 more then 14.600 people were retrained. The priorities for Georgia's development are tourism, construction, transportation, arts. Education professional certificates will be issued for about 30 different specialties. The President of Georgia spoke with the students and teachers and promised them to increase their salaries.
