Today President Mikheil Saakashvili commented the accusations of de-facto government of Tskhinvali region. "I want to reply the accusations spread within last weeks as if Georgia would plan a military operation [against Tskhinvali regime] in the nearest future. I would like to tell everyone that Georgia has enough resources to respond to any provocation, although I do not advise anyone to plan any. Georgia has no plan to perform a military or any other armed operation. The only one plan we that we have got and work actively on is about peaceful dialogue and I strongly encourage everyone to return to [peace] talks. We have made an offer that no previous government would ever dare to make. Now it is local de-facto government's turn. We cannot let the status-quo continue. According to the way we chose there is no alternative to peaceful resolution of the conflict."
