We all are filled with grief and sorrow on Sophiko Chiaureli's death. She belonged to those great artists that glorified the Georgian theatre and cinema and Georgian art in general all over the world. She was generally recognized and loved in her lifetime.

Her big family, the Georgian theatre and cinema, everybody in Georgia, will miss her greatly; her roles in the theatre and on the screen created a great epoch for the whole country, the epoch, that we bid farewell to, with great love and respect.
