The President of Georgia visited Bolnisi region

The President of Georgia visited Bolnisi region together with the Kvemo Kartli new governor David Kirkitadze and the State Minister David Tkeshelashvili.

The visit started from the village Mukhrani, Bolnisi region. Mikheil Saakashvili inspected the works on the running water system rehabilitation on the spot. Then he went to the poultry farm, where he met the working personnel.

Mikheil Saakashvili attended the cultivation process of the agricultural land in the village Rachis Ubani.

Mikheil Saakashvili introduced the newly appointed governor of Kvemo Kartli to the local population right on the field. He gave the new governor some specific tasks. As he mentioned the village should be equipped by natural gas and a new ambulatory should be built. Mikheil Saakashvili advised David Kirkitadze to spend most of his time with people. From Rachis Ubani the President of Georgia headed to Bolnisis Sioni, where he visited the 6th century cathedral that had been recently restored. He met a century old Mother Evgenia Vasilievich, awarded her with the Medal of Dignity and presented a television to her.
