The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili visited factory in Zestaponi

The President of Georgia visited Imereti region. Mikheil Saakashvili inspected "Sak-kabeli" factory, spoke with the personnel and got acquainted with their labor conditions. "They say that we only need 35 year-old-people, here you see the director of this factory a 73 year-old-man. These people are priceless... They sometimes ask us where our state money goes. These people invest their money in such enterprises, they buy our production and they employ our people. These are foreign investments. Last year, due to disorder in Georgia, 300 000 GEL was stolen from every Georgian family budget. So talking about disorder is so harmful for our country. Investors put their money in order to give our people jobs. We should not cut off the branch that we are sitting on together", stated Mikheil Saakashvili.

Mikheil Saakashvili visited ground cultivation works in village Meore Sviri and talked to peasants. Afterwards Amiran Jugeli's family hosted the President of Georgia. The host expressed his gratitude for state-sponsored-surgery on his eye cataract.

The President of Georgia met the members of Imereti region local government and gave them tasks. They must reconstruct running water and irrigation systems and provide gasification for all 200 villages in the region.
