The President of Georgia met with representatives of the media today and answered their questions. The Head of State commented on the arrests of the former Prime Minister of the country, Vano Merabishvili and the governor of Kakheti, Zurab Tchiaberashvili. According to him, the Government must think and realize that Georgia will achieve an undesirable result by such actions, and will harm its prestige as well as long term prospects. Additionally, the Head of State spoke about recent international activity and focused attention on the non-recognition policy of the occupied territories.
