The President of Georgia visited Kareli region

The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili visited the village Aradeti in Kareli region. Mikheil Saakashvili went to Titvinidzes' family and spoke about the development of agriculture, about the existing problems in this sphere and discussed the future plans of the government. President of Georgia spoke about existing problems and the ways of solving them. As the population of the village noted their major problem lies in the realization of the fruit - because their only income is the money that they get from selling the harvest. President paid special attention to the fact that this very problem will be arranged as soon as the new investor enters the market. The company "Hippy" has already started working in this region.

"Company "Hippy" bought a fruit processing factory. This is the Swiss firm, the investor is a friend and partner of ours and they consider that the best sort of apple is the sort of apple from Kartli region". Mikheil Saakashvili noted that not only the existing amount of apples but four times more can be sold.

President spoke about the dissemination of new sorts of apples and about export of the Georgian production abroad. The new highway, natural gas, a new processing factory and supply container that will solve the realization problem a lot.

"The war period is over, we are solving running water problems, we will overcome economic crisis. As for the realization of the production the situation is far better if compared with last year", Mikheil Saakashvili noted.

The government will arrange the problems of the realization and at the same time the government will take care of the problems connected with running water, rehabilitations of the roads, creation of processing factories and so on.

The Minister of Agriculture Bakur Kvezereli and the Governor of Shida Kartli Lado Vardzelashvili attended the meeting in Aradeti.
