President of Georgia MikheilSaakashvili visited Tbilisi # 10 Public School today where he met the schoolchildren. MikheilSaakashvili spoke with them about the importance of May 26 and noted that the fight for the independence continues even today.

"The Independence Day is not the day that we have to celebrate only today. We are fighting for independence every single day to live in better country and have a chance for better future. Independence is freedom and unfortunately it faces huge threats every day. In conditions of these threats, challenges, social hardship, in conditions of undeveloped political culture our mission is to built such country and system, which will give us ability to make our country irreversibly free and our future irreversibly secured. No one could be able to disgrace us because of the place of your residence, for example - you are not from "right district", "right family" or "right ethnicity". You must be evaluated by your education, by your talent, by the way you think and how much you love your country, your homeland. We will become modern European country and will be the reliable country for Caucasus in Europe after our integration", stated President of Georgia.
