The President of Georgia visited ongoing works at Prometheus Cave

The President of Georgia together with the members of Government visited ongoing works at Prometheus Cave after the Government session at Sataplia was over. The most modern, absolutely new type of infrastructure will be arranged at one of the oldest historic complex by the means of lights, music and laser show. German designers are working on the decoration of three km radius around cave.

In Prometheus Cave four layers were formed during the different stages of earth development and tourists will be able to walk through this historic territory by path or by boats. The location gives a chance to develop the infrastructure in several other caves on this very territory, where wild speleology will be planned. There will be chances to arrange several-day-tours on a eight km line. Speleological cave diving will be possible as well - this type of sport is considered to be the most expensive extreme sport in Europe. Speleological therapy will be available for asthmatics. Khvamli Mountain is visible from Prometheus Cave on which due to the legend Prometheus was chained. The rehabilitation of Prometheus Cave will end by the end of next year.
